Sainsbury's Category Promotion


‘The Sainsbury’s ‘Drinks Festival’ wants to inspire you to try something new. To make it easier for shoppers to choose the right
drink with confidence, they have split all the different drinks styles by colour.

With hanging banners and aisle fins explaining the colour key, this is extended into aisle with colour coded shelf edge strips.
Continuing online across their website, the promotion extends to beers and whiskies. However it is felt that sparkling wine and Champagne is a bit disappointing as it doesn’t help differentiate between the different flavours in this sector and simply groups
them all into ‘Sparkling’.
